A while back I mentioned that I wanted to start reading #GirlBoss by Sophia Amoruso. I put it off for a while, like I do with all books, but when I started reading it I was immediately addicted!
I didn’t know what to expect from #GirlBoss, but I love it. I just simply love it, so far, anyway. It’s partially about Sophia’s journey of becoming such a successful woman, who worked from the ground up to create NastyGal. But it’s also a book about being a #GirlBoss. It’s a pretty simple. It’s being in charge of your own life, whatever that may mean to you. Even though I’m only a few chapters in, I’ve found this book to be incredibly inspiring. Amoruso is such a successful woman, and hearing some of the things she says has really helped take a load of weight off. It’s okay to take your time and live the life that you want, but it’s also important to work hard and commit to everything you do.
I’m beyond excited to finish this book, and when I do I’m planning on doing a post on all the things I’ve learned from the book, because I have a feeling there will be a lot.
Have you read #Girlboss? If you haven’t, I highly suggest picking a copy up!
